Education
I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Music degree in Brass Pedagogy at the Indiana University Jacob’s School of Music where I study with Professor Edmund Cord. At IU, I perform with the Energico Brass Quintet as well at the Graduate Trumpet ensemble.
In addition to frequent playing obligations in Bloomington and Indianapolis, I am also on the faculty of the University of Indianapolis Community Music Center where I teach high school trumpet students from the Indianapolis area.
I received my Master of Music degree from the IU Jacob’s School of Music in May 2007. My teachers have included Edmund Cord, Anthony Plog, Stephen Burns, Chuck Steck, Marvin Perry, and Allen Miller.
